# Fingerprint Mitigation Dirty-Worktree Baseline

Status: captured before fingerprint-or-reset implementation
Captured: 2026-07-15

## Purpose

Preserve an inventory and content fingerprints for pre-existing user work before
the configuration mitigation modifies overlapping files. This is evidence, not
a clean baseline claim and not authorization to discard or rewrite unrelated work.

## Overlapping Source Changes Present Before This Implementation

- `src/AppVeeprom.c`: uncommitted semantic validator and startup integration.
- `src/AppVeeprom.h`: semantic status API and finding definitions.
- `src/HMI_MainEventHandler.c`: unrelated existing HMI changes.
- SD service, linker, J-Flash, documentation, scripts, and generated Debug/Release
artifacts were also already modified or untracked.
- Planning files previously stored under the firmware repository's `work/` tree
are deleted because planning was moved to `AI_Plans/7520553_SMI_FW`.

## Preservation Rule

Implementation patches may touch `AppVeeprom.c/.h`, `ShelConfig.h`, and
`Thread_Misc_entry.c` only as required by the approved configuration plan.
Unrelated HMI, SD, linker, programmer, scripts, binaries, documentation, and
planning-relocation changes must remain intact.
