# G-PWR-B minimal equivalence qualification result

Status: superseded by full current-firmware reset-path qualification
Type: evidence
Updated: 2026-07-25
Next Action: none; use the full qualification result
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 013-close-hpt-media-2-initial-release-qualification; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/runbooks/runbook-autonomous-hpt-sd-qualification.md

Superseded by
`../g-pwr-full-20260725/qualification-result.md`, which includes current
firmware, three reset witnesses, and baseline/post-reboot CID identity.

## Owner-approved scope

The owner approved a reduced Group B check because the external implementation
is the already-qualified Group A design with a distinct target, Plug 2,
KS0212 GPIO 22, and J-Link `69660123`. This evidence qualifies the Group B
power method; it does not transfer Controller A firmware, HPT, or SD-card
qualification claims.

## Result

Canonical HPT Lab Power Control operation
`6aa1c25e-4bde-433d-ba56-d50da936e313` completed with overall `success`.

- J-Link `69660123` off and absent: 2026-07-25 11:57:37Z
- Required 10-second J-Link-off settle passed
- Plug 2 off and observed at zero current/power: 11:57:47Z
- Required 30-second controller-off interval passed: 11:58:17Z
- Plug 2 restored: 11:58:17Z
- Required 10-second controller-start interval passed
- Exact J-Link `69660123` restored and present: 11:58:28Z
- Host-to-J-Link verification passed
- Bounded SWD connection to `R7FS7G27H` at 4 MHz passed: 11:58:33Z
- Final Plug 2 state: on
- Final exact-serial J-Link state: on/present

The operation used the permanently connected USB data/ground and target-ribbon
topology. No firmware was programmed and no SD media operation was commanded.

## SD identity boundary

`CID unavailable` for this minimal check: Controller B remains on the older
00.04.13 baseline and does not expose the current service-467/equivalent CID
capture interface used by the HPT media 2.0 harness. Same-run protocol,
CID-valid, representative-sector-read, manufacturer/product/serial/date, and
raw 128-bit CID evidence are therefore unavailable.

This is acceptable only because this artifact qualifies the external power
path and makes no SD-card or HPT recovery claim. The complete CID block remains
mandatory at the baseline and after every relevant reboot once the final HPT
candidate is installed for Controller B firmware/media qualification.

## Disposition

`G-PWR-B` is passed for using the coordinated Group B power-cycle method in
otherwise authorized Controller B tests. Candidate identity, full CID,
firmware/HPT reopen, data-integrity, recovery, safety, and case-specific gates
remain mandatory and unqualified by this minimal check.
