# Inventory: HPT Embedded Log Store v0.4.0 integration surfaces

Status: completed
Type: inventory
Updated: 2026-09-23
Next Action: none; retained as history; any new execution requires a new explicit owner instruction
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 013-close-hpt-media-2-initial-release-qualification; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/wp/completed/wp-hpt-embedded-log-store-v0-4-0-renesas-integration.md

## Scope

Existing firmware surfaces and proposed upstream files involved in adopting the
HPT Embedded Log Store v0.4.0 portable core.

## Items

| Item | Current Location | Decision | Reason |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Product/board identity | README.md; configuration.xml | keep | SMI 1751136/1751219, S7G2 R7FS7G27H3A01CFC |
| Qualified build wrapper | script/headless-e2-build.ps1 | keep/use | e2 studio 2024-01.1, SSP 2.6.1; isolated clean build without source regeneration |
| Managed build definition | .cproject | preserve | GCC Arm toolchain and source membership; change only if additive sources are not discovered automatically |
| Generated configuration | configuration.xml; synergy_cfg*; src/synergy_gen/** | preserve/no edit | regeneration requires separate operator approval |
| RTOS/storage owner | src/Thread_SdCard_entry.c; src/SdCardService.h | integrate carefully | ThreadX SD owner, FileX lifecycle, diagnostics, 4096-byte generated stack |
| FileX/block path | g_fx_media_sd -> g_sf_el_fx -> g_sf_block_media_sdmmc | reuse boundary | 512-byte blocks; lower SSP API exposes open/read/write/ioctl/close |
| Portable upstream subset | proposed src/vendor/hpt_embedded_log_store/ | vendor | core, public headers, license, required media/API specs only |
| Product adapter | proposed src/HptLogStoreRenesas.[ch] | create | SSP/ThreadX binding remains outside upstream snapshot |
| Host/Linux/Pi adapters and tools | upstream archive | exclude | not controller integration material |
| Upstream tests/raw images/build output | upstream archive | exclude | prohibited and not qualification evidence |
| Planning/evidence | work/ | extend | record risks, exact builds, memory, and controller results |
| Existing dirty SD changes | git working tree | preserve | user-owned concurrent work; additions must be isolated and reviewed |

## Recommendations

- Prefer a separate raw partition or explicitly reserved LBA range; never point
the portable store at sectors owned by the mounted FAT filesystem.
- Keep a single SD-thread owner unless a reviewed ThreadX mutex/ownership design
is added; the portable core is not assumed thread-safe.
- Treat an SSP-successful write as acknowledged only after confirming the
controller/card completion semantics required by upstream `flush`.

## Verification

Compare every vendored path to the verified archive; ensure the manifest labels
pristine upstream and product-owned files; confirm `git diff` contains no
generated configuration and no Linux/Pi/tool/test/image/build artifacts.

## Owner-directed reconciliation — 2026-09-23

Reconcile stale active lifecycle to the previously documented completed disposition; no new test or broader acceptance claim.

Authorization: Owner instruction in this conversation on 2026-09-23 to close/abandon the named work and mitigate older active records.

Previous header retained for evidence interpretation:

> Status: complete; historical media-1.0 integration inventory
> Next Action: none; retain with the completed media-1.0 adoption record

Earlier observations, unchecked historical criteria, and procedures below/above remain history. This administrative disposition does not qualify a new firmware candidate, physical card, thermal system, ECO, or release. Current 00.05.01 obligations in IDEA-0006, IDEA-0007, MAP-0009, and CAMP-0028 remain unchanged.
