# Evaluator correction build and controller load

Status: corrected candidate loaded and electronically verified; destructive rerun awaits fresh operator confirmation
Type: evidence
Updated: 2026-07-14
Next Action: inspect the corrected service-code 472 intro, confirm the permanent-data-loss warning, and monitor the rerun
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 014-complete-standalone-sd-qualifier-acceptance; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/wp/active/wp-sd-card-accelerated-endurance-evaluator-and-media-qualification.md

## Corrections

- Replaced the invalid 512-byte FileX integrity-scan workspace with a dedicated
  512 KiB SDRAM workspace.
- Selected FAT cluster geometry by media capacity so the planned 8--32 GB cards
remain within the integrity-scan workspace and avoid unnecessarily large FATs.
- Shortened the evaluator intro to three complete lines after the Notion 553
photo showed its last sentence clipped.
- Added plain-language decoding for common evaluator result statuses.

## Automated verification

- Isolated clean Debug build: PASS.
- Isolated clean Release build: PASS.
- Evaluator static checks: 16/16 PASS.
- Evaluator model tests: 10/10 PASS.
- SD safety checks: 10/10 PASS.
- `git diff --check`: PASS (line-ending notices only).

## Controller verification

- Programmed Setup A through J-Link serial `69664082` with the shared
`smi.jflash`; internal data flash and external QSPI banks were disabled.
- Compared 2,825,980 S-record program bytes against the 3 MiB target readback:
  zero mismatches.
- VEEPROM immediately before and after programming was byte-identical, SHA-256
  `B5B60BA51E173B03F255479452B41DC5861126591724C3959A404AE418D612BE`.
- Option memory immediately before and after programming was byte-identical,
  SHA-256 `80A76A18ACF8CB64FEC3A659FFC4BAB4A87CD9A6FDE4DAB2161A8751D136C9D2`.
- Live readback: boot complete (`0xC00000FF`), system errors zero, evaluator
  state IDLE.

The first run, ID 06670, remains an evaluator-infrastructure failure and is not
evidence against the SanDisk Industrial card. A new service-code 472 entry and
on-screen confirmation are required before the corrected run can erase media.
