# SD evaluator run 07949 — Industrial reference

Status: DATA PASS — host filesystem gate inconclusive after later powered removal
Type: evidence
Updated: 2026-07-14
Next Action: retain this run as data evidence, verify the two firmware corrections, then run the old-code EDGE/Industrial discrimination pair
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 009-complete-clean-contract-bound-a-b-qualification; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/wp/active/wp-sd-card-accelerated-endurance-evaluator-and-media-qualification.md

## Identity and authority

- Setup: provisional Setup A, J-Link serial `69664082`.
- Card: SanDisk Industrial 8 GB microSDHC U1/Class 10, known-working
reference; operator physical identification, electronic CID unavailable.
- Firmware: Release SREC SHA-256
  `F5D026FC039BF6755B68B17AC9BF40A03AFC872EC2EE563A8E27FD70B1C7CB05`.
- Run ID: 7949 (`07949` namespace).
- The operator entered service code 472 and explicitly confirmed the fresh
  permanent-data-loss warning before this run.
- No removal or power interruption occurred during the evaluator run. A separate
powered removal occurred later, after a reboot into production operation; see
  `work/incidents/incident-sd-hot-removal-after-evaluator-07949.md`.

## Result

- Final state: `PASSED` (5).
- Records targeted/written: 44,640 / 44,640.
- Dataset: 44,640 logical records in each A/B mirror, 89,280 physical records,
  744 hourly files per mirror.
- Cumulative checkpoint mirror-record verifications: 118,080.
- Cumulative checkpoint file verifications: 1,968.
- First failure sequence: unset (`0xFFFFFFFF`).
- First/last status: `0x00` / `0x00` (`FX_SUCCESS`).
- Media-check error bits: 0.
- Maximum completed A+B record transaction: 72 ThreadX ticks.
- Start/end tick: 20,495 / 227,991; elapsed 207,496 ticks at 100 Hz =
  2,074.96 seconds (34 minutes 34.96 seconds).
- Simulated duration: 2,678,400 seconds; achieved workload acceleration:
approximately 1,290.8x, excluding destructive-format time before StartTick.
- Start/end free bytes: 1,919,102,976 / 1,912,954,880; reduction 6,148,096
bytes versus 5,713,920 record-payload bytes, with the remainder attributable
  to directory/FAT/cluster and result-file allocation.
- Post-run live status: boot complete (`0xC00000FF`), system errors zero, SD
state `READY` (2), and SD last status zero.
- Operator post-run confirmation: the Notion 553 service-code 472 screen-text
truncation is resolved on the tested image.
- The J-Link was disconnected by the operator after all electronic result and
health evidence had been captured; no further live target access is assumed.

`status-ram.bin` is the immutable 72-byte target status snapshot, SHA-256
`2274143F506E5EF04B6DAF34EAF766E2CF5DEF05EE5AA930D65BCDEE20878EE8`.
The controller also wrote `\\EV07949.RESULT` to the SD card.

## Host preservation and qualification

- The complete readable card was preserved under `card-files/`: 1,490 files,
5,714,214 bytes. Source and copy hash manifests are identical.
- Independent host parsing passed all 744 files per mirror, all 44,640 logical
  records, record framing/magic/sequence/complement/timestamps, finite
temperature fields, and 2,856,960 bytes of exact A/B comparison.
- The controller-written result file is malformed because the embedded
formatter did not implement `%llu`. See
  `work/tickets/ticket-sd-evaluator-result-json-serialization.md`; the RAM
snapshot above is authoritative for the affected counters.
- Read-only CHKDSK found one lost chain occupying 4,096 bytes and made no
correction. The card had been removed while the restarted controller remained
powered and normal logging was active, so this finding is confounded and
cannot be attributed to run 07949.
- Therefore the run is a record/mirror **PASS**, but it does not satisfy the
  clean host-filesystem acceptance gate.

Later read-only reconnect check: the same J-Link enumerated on a different USB
port and the restarted controller was healthy, SD READY, semantic/system status
clean, and production logging balanced with zero drops or mirror failures. See
`work/evidence/setup-a/controller-health-reconnect-20260714.md`.

## Disposition

Run 07949 proves that the corrected evaluator completed one accelerated
31-day profile on this SanDisk Industrial reference while the controller
remained booted. It does not yet prove the evaluator reproduces the historical
EDGE failure, approve the less-capable EDGE card, cover power interruption, or
complete the required repeated/multi-sample/real-cadence campaign.
