# SD qualifier section-completion forecasts deployment — 2026-08-07

Status: deployed and verified; Controller A qualification chain uninterrupted
Type: evidence
Updated: 2026-08-07
Next Action: let the persistent Controller A chain continue from exact S4 44640 / AT observation 3 of 3; keep Controller B qualification not started
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 009-complete-clean-contract-bound-a-b-qualification; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/wp/active/wp-build-standalone-pi-sd-qualification-operator-application.md

## Result

All eight physical-card QA traveler sections now show a completion time and an
explicit evidence basis:

- `ACTUAL` uses the section's recorded durable completion timestamp;
- `HISTORY-BASED` uses comparable completed work from the same physical-card
  track;
- `MIXED HISTORY/ESTIMATE` combines available history with a planning allowance
  for work without a matching completed case; and
- `ROUGH ESTIMATE` is used only where comparable history is unavailable.

Open-section timestamps are a sequential forecast from the current state. They
assume each next section begins after the preceding section and explicitly
exclude operator waiting and unplanned interventions. The matrix calculation
uses the registered plan's remaining observation counts, exact or scaled S4
history, and case-specific history where available; it does not treat the
generic attempt count as progress.

## Source and release identity

- SD Qualifier PR #47, `Add section completion forecasts`, merged as
  `abca3b08c788e467f6be7ff5ad783d106ba34b4c`.
- Deployed exact ARM64 image:
  `sha256:2a42efc92df3357fc582666bd08911b01cf97cdd71432d222546044670f39e96`.
- Production web container after deployment:
  `dcf89bb84238720d36eaf8f82512b82844b675c935222ea8fc50a288376f754f`.

The deployment replaced only the web container. It did not run a migration,
write qualification evidence, restart either worker, restart any Controller A
continuation service, or issue a controller command.

## Exact-image and production verification

- The exact merged image passed all `260/260` tests in `76.336s`; the Django
  system check reported no issues.
- `/sd-qualifier/healthz` returned `status: ok`; database, storage, clock, and
  worker checks were healthy.
- An authenticated production render returned HTTP 200, showed exactly eight
  timed QA rows, and contained no
  `BOUNDED_STOP_PASS_CASE_TRIGGER_NOT_MET` text.
- Sections 1–3 showed recorded `ACTUAL` completion times.
- Section 4 showed `MIXED HISTORY/ESTIMATE`, approximately 2 days 12 hours
  remaining, with an estimated completion of Aug. 9, 2026 at 10:34 p.m. PDT.
- Sections 5, 6, and 8 showed explicitly labeled `ROUGH ESTIMATE` forecasts;
  section 7 showed `MIXED HISTORY/ESTIMATE` because completed scrub history is
  available but final identity-review duration is not.

Forecast timestamps are expected to move as actual progress and new history are
recorded; the basis label and supporting note remain visible in each row. No
connected in-app browser instance was available for screenshot-level visual
inspection. Authenticated production rendering, responsive template/static
assertions, exact-image tests, and live health checks provide the recorded UI
verification.

## Qualification continuity

The command worker retained container ID `4e08d8b81ffc` and its
2026-08-05 5:38 p.m. PDT start. The notification worker retained container ID
`b7610271cd99` and its 2026-08-06 1:16 p.m. PDT start.

All four persistent Controller A continuation services retained their original
processes and start times:

- `sdq-controller-a-s4-matrix-v3.service`, PID `1798217`;
- `sdq-controller-a-after-ordinary.service`, PID `1811494`;
- `sdq-controller-a-final-after.service`, PID `1816157`; and
- `sdq-controller-a-after-final.service`, PID `1839319`.

After deployment, the exact active row was S4 44640/AT observation 3 of 3, run
`82f618e3`, while observations 1 and 2 remained visibly credited. Controller B
remains outside the admitted qualification chain.
