# Setup A controller health after J-Link USB-port reconnect

Status: PASS — read-only health snapshot
Type: evidence
Updated: 2026-07-14
Next Action: preserve the Industrial card for host inspection; no controller recovery action required
Campaign Reason: Historical record from campaign 009-complete-clean-contract-bound-a-b-qualification; retained independently after campaign closure and requires no separate owner-queue execution.
Campaign: standalone
Parent: work/evidence/setup-a/sd-evaluator/07949/manifest.md

The operator reconnected the J-Link through a different PC USB port. Windows
enumerated the same probe as `USB\\VID_1366&PID_0101\\000069664082`.

- J-Link: hardware V9.60, serial `69664082`, J-Flash license.
- Target: Renesas R7FS7G27H, Cortex-M4, SWD at 4 MHz.
- Target voltage: 3.309 V.
- Attachment was read-only; no halt, reset, register write, or programming was
  requested.
- Boot status: `0xC00000FF` (complete).
- Main system errors: 0.
- Configuration semantic status: findings 0, changed 0, controls inhibited 0,
  commissioning required 0.
- SD available: 1; SD state 2 (`READY`); SD last status 0.
- Production logging since the current boot: 73 queued, 73 completed, 0
  dropped, mirror A failures 0, mirror B failures 0.
- Current log snapshot: target temperature approximately 37.00 C, actual
  temperature approximately 36.60 C.
- Main heater demand snapshot: 90 ticks; control activity is present.

The evaluator status structure was all zero/IDLE after reconnect. Because run
07949 had previously been captured in terminal PASS state, this means the
volatile evaluator status was cleared by a controller restart after evidence
capture. It does not change the immutable RAM snapshot or the `\\EV07949.RESULT`
file written to the SD card. See the run manifest for the final result.
